I’m not going to lie. This month has been hard. Most everyone who has met Chloe assumes that she’s always a happy go-lucky baby. And she is… for the most part. She does well in new places. She loves meeting other babies. But some days I can’t figure out what to do to make her happy.
Chloe is so mobile and between that and her developing her personality more, she has been quite a handful. She has learned to throw things on the ground from her high chair while maintaining eye contact and laughing. She has refused to take her bottle anymore which makes me worried that she’s not staying hydrated enough. She’s never loved being rocked/cuddled, so those times that she wakes up in the middle of the night, I just don’t know what to do because normally she’d take a bottle to calm down and go back to sleep.
Chloe has been in a little bit of a funk the past few days (I think she picked up something at the church nursery), and I honestly couldn’t decide what to do for her 11 month photos, so I decided to just do something that she loves – bath time! We recently retired her baby tub (which we probably should have done months ago, but she didn’t know the difference) and she loves being able to roam around in the big tub!
Our little stinker has recently started to attempt to climb things… Baby gates and the tub are her favorite places to try to climb.
Since she graduated to the big tub, we got some new bath toys for her to play with! She loves these linking ships.
Those baby blues melt my heart!!
The rest of the shoot went exactly as I assumed it was. She no longer would lay on the floor for photos, and she wouldn’t even sit on the floor. We were only successful by making her sit on the rocking chair, and even then, it was all a struggle. She’s still cute though!
Next time I post a monthly update, Chloe will be a year old! Cue the mom tears!
